It’s been a few very busy years since I wrote my last blog post. Life has been super busy and some of the seasons proved to be more difficult than I had anticipated.
In both my personal and professional life, God has sustained me through the super highs and deep lows.
Currently, I’m experiencing professional highs and personally, some deep lows. Isn’t it awesome the way God helps to balance both? Not that one can’t have highs and lows at the same time but in this season, I’m glad there is balance.
It’s amazing how one diagnosis can change everything dramatically. Yesterday, no longer looks or feels like today. Minutes seem more important than hours, days and weeks. Embracing time directly in front of me is vital. Appreciating the small stuff…creating and relishing special moments and receiving love instead of always giving it.
A friend gave us the use of a convertible. A simple gesture that turned into a precious memories we will always have. We have talked about renting one for many years. The keys are ours for days/weeks if and when we choose. My advice is, don’t wait to rent the fancy car, learn how to fly an airplane, or scratch things off the bucket list. Tomorrow is never promised.
These memories, the love, support and prayers of our friends and family are what sustains me. The greatest gift of all is without a doubt, my Heavenly Father who never leaves me.
Writing is therapy. It releases some of one’s deepest feelings and keeps record of them… It’s in these documented stories, I hope to bring encouragement, peace and joy to the world.
